Overview
We’re looking for an experienced AEM architect with a strong background in steering complex enterprise projects, shaping digital strategies, and fostering adoption across the Adobe Experience Cloud suite. You’ll be the go-to for turning business requirements into meaningful, scalable digital experiences, working closely with stakeholders and guiding them through transformation. This role demands a mix of strategic vision, technical expertise, and excellent client relationship skills.
Strategic Direction
- Lead the definition and execution of AEM strategies that align with enterprise digital transformation goals.
- Build multi-year digital roadmaps, offering guidance on cloud migration, platform integration, and evolving use cases.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and Adobe ecosystem innovations to recommend forward-thinking solutions.
- Create frameworks for scalable, secure, and future-proof AEM platforms.
- Promote data-driven decision-making tied to KPIs, personalisation strategies, and customer engagement insights.
Team Development
- Identify core skills and key roles required to deliver successful AEM solutions.
- Build, lead, and grow a skilled AEM team, nurturing collaboration and technical excellence.
- Oversee recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure ongoing capability development.
Growth
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, translating their challenges into smart, sustainable AEM solutions.
- Ensure clients gain maximum value from their AEM investment, supporting long-term engagement and expanded opportunities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor, uncovering new possibilities for growth and digital maturity.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops, educating clients on digital best practices and AEM’s role in transformation.
- Provide guidance on topics like compliance, security, and performance metrics to strengthen clients’ digital foundations.
Requirement
- 8+ years of experience in AEM architecture, development, and technical leadership.
- Proven ability to build and scale high-performing AEM teams, including recruitment and mentoring.
- Expertise in AEM architecture, including cloud-based implementations (AEM as a Cloud Service) - custom builds & solution design.
- Strong client-facing abilities and a track record of turning business goals into effective technical solutions.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud tools - such as Analytics, Target, AEM Assets, Campaign, CDP, CRM integrations, and personalisation platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
- Comfortable leading Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams and managing enterprise-scale digital projects.
- Best practices in scalable and secure AEM solutions (consulting approach)
- Experience with RFPs and solution shaping
- Fluent English communication skills with the ability to formally lead, negotiate, and inspire.
Nice to Have
- Adobe Certified Expert or Master-level certification in AEM Sites Architecture.
- Ability to identify and drive business growth through AEM, and potential to influence and grow the Americas market
- Strategic advisory experience in digital experience, personalisation, and AI-enhanced solutions.
- Understanding of AI/ML-driven personalisation using Adobe Sensei or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with headless AEM architectures, GraphQL APIs, and Content Fragments.
