You will play a key role in defining and delivering the architecture, integration, and activation strategy for enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementations. This role focuses on building scalable customer data solutions that power personalisation, segmentation, and omnichannel activation across complex digital ecosystems.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure AEP capabilities are effectively designed, integrated, and adopted, enabling high-quality customer data usage across Adobe and external platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and activation using AEP services (Data Lake, Data Collection, Identity Services)
- Lead end-to-end development and deployment of AEP solutions including Real-Time CDP, Journey Orchestration, and Customer AI
- Define and maintain XDM schemas while ensuring strong data governance, compliance, and security standards
- Integrate AEP with Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe CJA, and Adobe Campaign
- Connect AEP with external systems including CRMs, cloud data warehouses, and DMPs
- Provide technical leadership on CDP and DMP strategies, including best practices and future-state architecture
- Oversee API design and integration patterns, including evaluation of implementation approaches
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and quality
- Support adoption through documentation, enablement, and stakeholder training
- Stay up to date with AEP releases and continuously improve platform usage and optimisation
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform, including XDM, Web SDKs, and APIs
- Hands-on background in AEP development (4+ years) and broader digital experience platforms (9+ years total experience)
- Experience with Adobe Launch and Web SDK implementation
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, governance, and quality practices
- Experience integrating CDP solutions with cloud platforms and marketing technologies
- Ability to analyse data trends and translate them into actionable insights
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across complex data systems
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and collaborative team environments
- Exposure to privacy and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and DPDP
Nice to have
- Experience working with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and related Adobe Experience Cloud tools
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider’s CDP offering
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
