About the role

We’re looking for a mid-level PXM / PIM Functional Consultant who is passionate about experience-led commerce and product data. This role is well suited to someone with 4–5 years of experience who enjoys solving complex business problems, working closely with both technical teams and stakeholders, and turning requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.

You’ll work at the intersection of business, data, and technology; helping organizations improve how product information and experiences are structured, governed, and delivered.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A curious problem solver who enjoys challenging the status quo
  • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and sharing knowledge
  • Interested in how technology, creativity, and data come together
  • Experienced in Agile delivery and consulting environments (a plus)
  • Primarily functional, with enough technical understanding to work effectively with developers

What you’ll be doing

As a PXM Functional Consultant, you will:

  • Partner with technical consultants to translate business needs into effective data models
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional workshops with client stakeholders
  • Produce clear, structured deliverables including:
    • Process maps
    • Business requirements
    • User stories
    • Decision logs
  • Support clients through discovery, alignment, and solution definition phases
  • Work closely with teams across Canada, the US, and international regions

Must-have qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in eCommerce, retail, or apparel merchandising, particularly within seasonality-driven businesses
  • Experience across product lifecycle management, assortment planning, and data modelling involving PLM, ERP (ideally SAP), and PIM/PXM platforms
  • Proven ability to facilitate workshops and align cross-functional teams on business definitions and requirements
  • Solid understanding of data governance, especially around product and seasonal attributes
  • InRiver certification or hands-on project experience with InRiver
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in client-facing roles

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High levels of accountability, collaboration, and time management
  • A genuine interest in continuously learning about business and commerce
