Overview

We are looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to support a DAM migration and digital platform implementation engagement. The role will work closely with Project Managers, Developers, and other delivery stakeholders to understand requirements, execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure quality standards are met before release.

The role will primarily support DAM migration, content platform, and integration workstreams, ensuring that content, assets, functionality, and integrations are thoroughly tested and validated.

Deep Adobe platform expertise is not required to be successful in this role, although familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Adobe Asset Manager would be beneficial. The key requirements are strong QA fundamentals, disciplined test execution, clear defect documentation, and a proactive approach to identifying quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback on testability, completeness, and potential quality risks.
  • Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases for DAM migration, content platform, and integration workstreams.
  • Execute test cases and document results clearly and traceably.
  • Identify, document, and track defects with clear and actionable information for development teams.
  • Estimate, prioritise, and coordinate testing activities across sprint cycles.
  • Collaborate with technical, creative, project, and delivery teams to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities before testing begins.
  • Track QA and quality metrics and contribute to sprint retrospectives with relevant findings and recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation.
  • Stay current with testing tools and strategies relevant to CMS, DAM, and digital platform environments.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a QA Analyst or QA Engineer role, ideally within digital platform, web development, CMS, or MarTech projects.
  • Experience creating clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies and confidence working within sprint ceremonies.
  • Experience using defect tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and actionable defect reports.
  • Experience testing CMS, DAM, or other digital content platforms is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Adobe Asset Manager is a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience with performance or security testing is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
