AEM Architect

This role focuses on leading the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager solutions. You will shape technical direction, guide development teams, and ensure consistent application of best practices across complex digital platforms, including cloud-based AEM implementations and migrations.

The position plays a key role in defining scalable, secure, and high-performance digital experience architectures across multiple initiatives, while supporting modernisation and transformation of large content platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and technical direction for AEM-based solutions across multiple initiatives
• Define scalable, secure, and high-performing AEM architectures aligned to enterprise needs
• Provide technical leadership across AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and related Adobe Experience Cloud integrations
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions
• Oversee AEM as a Cloud Service implementations, including migrations and new builds
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
• Support solution design activities, including presentations and technical input for proposals
• Mentor and guide developers and technical leads across delivery teams

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an AEM Architect or senior technical lead within AEM environments
• Strong expertise in AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service
• Deep understanding of Sling, OSGi, JCR, and core AEM architecture principles
• Strong Java development background with familiarity across frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience integrating Adobe Experience Cloud tools such as Analytics, Target, or Campaign
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices
• Understanding of headless architectures and modern delivery frameworks (beneficial)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Large-scale enterprise or multi-brand implementations
• Multi-region or global platform delivery experience
• Adobe AEM certifications (Architect or Developer level)
